We English
Just one more from the quintessential English walk on a sunday, dropping a bit of Simon Roberts on you here ala we english. Looking at using the area here for a pre wedding shoot or maybe after with the bride and groom as its one hell of a back drop.

H.M.S. Pinafore
A former royal navy camp called HMS Royal Arthur used for training and closed a few years ago. The site is in Corsham in Wiltshire, close to a lot of very live military sites, we had a drive by from the MOD plod on the walk up so take care in this area . its very much trashed but clues to its original use can be found under the liberal covering of paint from your local artists.
Browns quarry
Just a quick few images from one of the massive stone quarries under Wiltshire. did about 5% of the place, got as far as Clapam junction where the rails that once carried the stone out the quarry meet and sadly ran out of time.

Now used as a satellite runway for RNAS Coldrose and used for fire fighter training and glider use and emergency landing.

bythelightdivided:
A blog showcasing images from………… “professionals” around the world, this is worryingly what we are up against! People have actually paid to have these photos taken…………
I know full well the other working photographers in my lists are going to see this and will be laughing then sobbing…… Remember, all these people are selling themselves as “professionals”…………..

Tan your hide sir
came in as peeled cow came out a year later as leather, after being soaked and manipulated for a year in oak baths and all sorts of other natural goodness. Sadly replaced with much faster methods and again the skills gap widens as the traditional skills become obsolete and die out.
Archive Sites
If you care to look I’ve started a archive sites section. This will cover the huge backlog of sites and the original content from urban desolation, i will be adding content daily so feel free to swing by n take a look at stuff from the classic cane hill asylum to British cellophane.
